Membership & Application

To join, simply complete our secure online membership application. Once submitted, our team will review your application to ensure compliance with our private club model. Approved members gain access to our private platform, exclusive products, and member-only benefits.

You must be 18 years or older, reside in South Africa (or be legally present), and agree to our Membership Agreement and Code of Conduct. We cater to adults seeking private access to cannabis for personal use, cultivation, or wellness purposes within the bounds of South African law.

Applications are typically reviewed within 24–72 hours. If needed, we may request additional details to verify your identity and ensure compliance. You’ll be notified by email once your membership is approved or if further steps are needed.

We offer three primary membership types:

Grower Membership – For members cultivating their own cannabis through our private model.
Patient Membership – For individuals who access cannabis products for personal or medical use.
Supporter Membership – For advocates and supporters of cannabis reform who may not require product access.

Product & Service

Members have access to a private selection of cannabis flowers, edibles, concentrates, tinctures, seeds, clones, topicals, and cultivation gear. All products are made available through our nonprofit private model, for member use only and not for public sale or trade.

While we do not offer consultations or medical advice, we provide detailed product descriptions, cannabinoid and terpene profiles, usage information, and educational resources to help you make informed personal choices.

Not all products are lab tested or certified. However, when applicable, we provide certification documents such as lab test results or certificates of analysis. We strive to work with trusted sources and offer transparency so members can make informed choices. If you require specific information about a product, feel free to contact our support team.

Yes. Cultivation supplies are offered through Innovative Growing Tech SA Grow Shop, our trusted partner. They stock everything you need to grow successfully—equipment, nutrients, lighting, and more. As a member of The Marijuana Club, you’ll receive exclusive discounts when shopping with them. Educational resources like grow guides and tutorials are also available to members.

Legal & Compliance

Yes. We operate within the legal boundaries set by South African cannabis laws. Our nonprofit private club model is based on personal use, private cultivation, and closed-loop member distribution—not public sales. All activity remains within a strictly private framework.

We currently serve members across all provinces of South Africa. All products are delivered via nationwide courier to verified members.

No. We do not operate a public storefront or collection point. All orders are delivered directly to members via courier, nationwide, at an additional charge.

We continuously monitor changes in cannabis legislation. Should any laws shift, we will adapt our policies and operations to remain compliant and will inform all members of relevant updates or required actions.

Health & Safety

No. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Members are encouraged to consult with a qualified healthcare professional for any medical concerns. We do, however, offer general information and educational content about our products.

We implement strict security protocols to protect member data, product quality, and operational integrity. All products are handled with care and undergo safety checks where applicable. Access to our platform is restricted to verified members only.

Yes. All products are delivered via discreet, secure courier to all provinces in South Africa. Courier delivery is charged separately and calculated at checkout. Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.

Yes. You can cancel at any time via your account or by contacting support. Upon cancellation, your access will be revoked immediately. We will retain basic member records securely, as required by our compliance protocols.

We take your privacy very seriously. All member data is encrypted and stored securely. We do not sell or share your information with third parties. Only verified staff have access to limited data required for operations. All communication is handled with strict confidentiality in line with POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act).

Yes! We welcome referrals from existing members. However, all new members must go through the same application and verification process. In future, we may offer referral perks or loyalty benefits—stay tuned for updates.

Absolutely. You can request a membership change at any time by contacting support via WhatsApp or email. We’ll guide you through the process and adjust your access and benefits accordingly.

Yes. In line with South African cannabis guidelines and our private club rules, reasonable limits apply to ensure all activity remains private, responsible, and compliant. Quantities are capped based on your membership type and personal use model. Details are outlined in your membership agreement.

We currently accept EFT (bank transfer) as our primary payment method. Payment instructions are provided at checkout. We do not accept cash or card payments at this time due to the legal restrictions around cannabis transactions.

No. All orders must be placed by the verified member for personal use only. Our model does not allow for third-party purchases, gifts, or transfers. This ensures we remain compliant with South African private cannabis use laws.

At this time, all memberships are issued individually. However, we are open to working with groups such as community gardens or private co-ops under special arrangements. Please contact us if you are interested in collaborative opportunities.

While we do not provide medical advice or prescriptions, we recognize the needs of members with chronic or serious health conditions. Our Patient Membership allows individuals to access cannabis through our private model and includes priority service and access to low-THC and full-spectrum options where available.

We love working with like-minded individuals. While we are not actively hiring, we occasionally offer volunteer opportunities and collaborative projects. If you’re passionate about cannabis reform, community wellness, or cultivation, feel free to reach out.

Yes. All orders are packaged discreetly with no branding, smell, or mention of cannabis visible on the outside. We use plain courier packaging to protect your privacy and ensure smooth delivery.

For internal packaging, we use glass containers whenever possible. Glass is chosen for its ability to preserve freshness, protect cannabinoid potency, and avoid contamination from plastic or reactive materials. It is also fully reusable and recyclable, aligning with our sustainability goals.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details via WhatsApp or email. Delivery times may vary depending on your location, but most packages arrive within 2–5 business days.
